The biggest risk I ever calculated? Opening a shop where people have to actually find me.
Gelulu is a small gelato shop, opened in 2026 by a fresh finance graduate, up a flight of red stairs in Petaling Street. No franchise, no premix. Own milk base, own syrups, real pistachio, real sticky rice, churned in small batches.
The flavours start from the food we grew up on: asam laksa, gula melaka, Milo Dino from the mamak. Then we geek out on the texture until it's right.
Gelulu is the Solulu. Come find us.
